Job Summary

Hano Academy is seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, and passionate Sales and Marketing Instructor to join our growing academic team in Mogadishu. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging, practical, and industry-relevant training programs that equip students with essential sales and marketing skills.

As part of our mission to prepare future business leaders, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of professionals through innovative teaching methods, mentorship, and real-world insights. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in marketing and sales, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for education and student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lectures, workshops, and hands-on training sessions on key sales and marketing topics.
  • Develop course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials that meet the academy’s curriculum standards.
  • Teach a variety of subjects, including sales strategies, customer relationship management, branding, advertising, digital marketing, social media strategy, and market research.
  • Incorporate interactive learning techniques such as case studies, simulations, group projects, and class discussions to enhance student engagement.
  • Assess student performance through quizzes, exams, projects, and presentations, ensuring constructive and timely feedback.
  • Support students academically and professionally, helping them develop confidence, communication skills, and a professional mindset.
  • Stay current with modern marketing practices, digital tools, and emerging industry trends to keep the course content relevant and up to date.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and the Head of Training to review, evaluate, and improve teaching programs and methodologies.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and professional development activities.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and guide students toward achieving academic and career success.
  • Innovative and adaptable teaching style, with the ability to connect theory to practical, real-world examples.
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media management, email marketing, SEO, and analytics.
  • Comfortable using technology and online learning platforms for hybrid or remote teaching.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Somali is a strong advantage.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in sales, marketing, or teaching/training.

Experience in instruction, coaching, or curriculum development is a strong advantage.

Demonstrated understanding of modern sales processes, digital marketing campaigns, and customer engagement strategies.
