Job Title: Multimedia (Full-Time)

Location: Mogadishu

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Multimedia to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical and theoretical knowledge of multimedia, including graphic design, motion design, video editing, and filming. This role requires a creative professional with a passion for teaching and the ability to deliver engaging multimedia lessons to students of varying skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilizing advanced techniques in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Video Editing, Filming, and Photography, the Multimedia Specialist will:

  • Design visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and branding materials for both digital and print platforms.
  • Create engaging motion graphics, visual effects, and animations using industry-standard software.
  • Film and photograph professional-level content using DSLR or mirrorless cameras, ensuring high production quality.
  • Edit and produce video content for diverse purposes including educational materials, promotional campaigns, and social media engagement.
  • Teach multimedia classes, incorporating key concepts in graphic design, animation, photography, video production, and editing tools.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, student assignments, and grading criteria.
  • Supervise and guide student projects, offering professional and constructive feedback.
  • Manage and maintain multimedia equipment, labs, and studio spaces, ensuring optimal use and care.
  • Collaborate with academic and creative teams to conceptualize and deliver impactful multimedia content.
  • Continuously explore and integrate the latest tools, trends, and technologies to enhance teaching and production quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Multimedia or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with strong multimedia skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in multimedia production or teaching.
  • Proficient in industry-standard multimedia software and tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in graphic design, motion design, video editing, and camera operation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and mentor students with different learning needs.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
